ACMG Hiking Guide (keeper of terrible jokes)
Chris moved to the Canadian Rockies in the mid 90’s searching for fresh snow and incredible adventures. He landed in the quaint mountain town of Invermere, British Columbia. Chris quickly took up hiking, backpacking and backcountry skiing in the Canadian Rockies and Columbia Mountains.
Chris is an outdoor enthusiast who has been adventuring around the Invermere area for nearly 20 years. He is a proud member of the ACMG and the Interpretive Guides Association. Chris has been working as a guide for several years, guiding seven-day backpacking trips on the famous West Coast Trail and has guided many day trips in the Columbia Valley. In the winter months you can still find Chris in the mountains backcountry skiing and Tail Guiding at Chatter Creek Cat-Skiing. There is a deep-seated passion for exploring the mountains and learning what they have to offer. His love for the mountains and sharing experiences in them is infectious and is his main priority.

ACMG Hiking Guide (keeper of terrible jokes)
Hahn is an ACMG Full Backcountry Hiking Guide, NOLS Expedition Instructor, Leave No Trace Master Trainer, as well as a certified Teacher. She has experience organizing, leading and guiding backcountry trips ranging from day trips heli-hiking in the Purcell Mountains of British Columbia to 33-day self sustained backpacking and kayaking expeditions in Alaska, South Korea, and the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Hahn spent time in Norway completing her Masters in Friluftsliv (Outdoor Studies) and conducted her MA thesis and research on the experiences and perspectives of professional female outdoor guides to help represent women in the outdoor industry and encourage the movement for equality in the profession.
Hahn is a huge advocate for getting folks outdoors and helping to equip participants with the skills and confidence to spend time in nature, safely. Hahn loves a good pun, nerding out on nature facts, and enjoying solace that nature provides wherever she can.

Ryan Bavin - The Artist
ACMG Hiking Guide (Glass blowing master)
Ryan grew up in the Columbia Valley in and around Invermere, his family having moved to the area in 1921. Spending as much time as possible outdoors has always been a part of Ryan’s life, anytime of the year. After many years of enjoying the backcountry recreationally, Ryan took his first guiding course in 2009 with the ACMG and now spends about 50 days per summer guiding hikes in the mountains near his home. When Ryan’s not guiding, he is creating breathtaking art. A professional glass blower and an incredibly talented photographer, Ryan brings a ton of creativity to the day!
